i get most creative way late at night. i did this between 3 and 4am last night. i'll just copy and past the description so you know what i was going for:
i just wanted to play around with something that combined god and guilt.. well not exactly just guilt but something that should be guilt. so i figured you know.. when you do something bad, you're caught red handed.. and a way to show god imagery is a rosary.. so i just messed with those two things. this is the result. and white pearls show up very nicely atop bright red hands. this is my hand, by the way. if i had an extra set i would have used two hands so that you would get more of an idea of prayer into it. but i do like the outcome.
also, i'm taking a sweet maymester class! character design and illustration. it should be fun! five days a week but it's 2-4:45.. perfect time to not get in the way of anything!
the only place i'm comfortable is behind my camera.
and sometimes i feel like

that girl who takes pictures. that girl with the camera.

photography won't make you fall in love with me.
photography won't make me sing you something pretty.
it will just make you expect me to take your picture.
i'm comfortable because i just click a button.
even if i mess that up,
i can just do it again. no strings attached.
i wish life could be like photography sometimes.

today was nice i slept in, did a photoshoot for fitsnews and then went to nick's show and then dinner/hung out with some friends doing another shoot tomorrow for nick and st. pats in five points. should be awesome. hopefully the weather won't be tooooo awful..

yeah i know, there is stuff on my face. thank you. so today was the first day of lent. i slipped up and cursed some. but that's okay, it's day 1, and that vocabulary is drilled in my brain still.
yesterday was lovely. i went to ihop with friends and got free pancakes. i'd put a picture on here but i haven't uploaded them yet! they were delicious. then we went to see a movie at the nick. then i caught the last 20ish minutes of the winter sounds at nbt.
anyways. baby djs are now on the airwaves. exciting. pot luck friday. exciting. i'm taking pictures for will folks sometime soon. exciting. i'm taking pictures for nick bays' album. extra excited. spring break is soon. exciting. work that has to get done before spring break. not so excited about.
the guy i sit next to in carolina alive now told me today that i sound like sara bareilles. ..i wish! but i took it as a compliment.
i'll leave you with this. i am going to bed before 1! he doesn't like this class, either.
